Why is tpg so slow 2017

They also promised to offer them a cheaper plan with a refund if that was the case," Mr Sims said. Mr Sims said the consumer watchdog was concerned that the companies appeared to have known about the issue prior to court proceedings being instituted. For Optus customers, it is alleged the statements were made between January 1, and December 31, Telstra informed customers that it would test the line speed 21 days after connection and promised consumers "alternative options" if they couldn't achieve the maximum line speed of their NBN plan.

Optus informed customers that it would check speeds and that options will be provided if the actual speed you achieve is lower than what's included in your plan or speed pack". TPG said it would email consumers their line speeds "around three weeks after activation" and that consumers would "have the option to move to a lower speed plan if available or to change providers without contract break fees".

Telstra, Optus or TPG are contacting current and former customers who are affected to advise them if they are eligible for a refund, and offer alternative plans, or an opportunity to leave their contract without penalty. Michael Ackland, Telstra Group Executive of Consumer and Small Business, said the business is wading through the "complicated" process of ensuring a customer's plan matches their maximum line speed.

To identify what exact speed you're getting. But what is the solution to slow internet? Hopefully, with your answers to the above questions, our community here may be able to work our way together to resolve your problem. When the TPG support resolved the issue it just bumped the download speed up to it's 'normal' speed. The temporary speed improvement lasted for a few days, two or three.

The speeds kept changing dropping up and down and recently it would be very slow. Even when i am the only device using the internet, i cannot watch videos on p on youtube and opening web pages take forever. I waited a while and refreshed the page alot just to get here and I don't even know if it will be able to post.

The TPG support just gave me a ticket and did their thing, this was when my internet was painfully slow and was dropping out once every five minutes. I have attached a speed test of my recent test which took a lot of time to load the page.

It's the one with 11ms ping. The other test which i tried to attach had 3ms was for about 2 weeks ago.

For the past few days, my internet was so slow i could not watch youtube on high quality or even standard quality. The ping jumps around a lot. I live just beyond 1. Please help me resolve this annoying internet issues, thank you. I have friends who use TPG who get much faster speeds. Something which would take me 12 hours to download would take them 4 hours or less. Yes and i don't know which is slow. I waited for 10 minutes to get here.

I definitely feel like nbn shouldn't be this slow. I asked a few people i know and the speed i get is speed without NBN. I am just having a very slow connection speed. Am I missing out something? Not able to make or receive calls but the mobile data is working. Hope someone able to help me out thanks. Joined Jan 1, Messages 3, Reaction score Under settings. Mobile data. Mobile data options. Slide the VoLTE until it is green. It's within the iPhone settings itself. It's under the Mobile data options. The second line item from the top. Where the roaming options are too. How blur of me… thanks for taking the effort to guide me step by step.

Works well now thanks so much! Joined Jul 28, Messages 2, Reaction score VoWIFI is a phone feature? I am using it with tpg sim card and connected via wifi. Moved from Giga to TPG. Signal and Data speed is good at my unit.

When tested on speedtest, I got Mbps download speed. Let me test if VoWifi works.
